Fargo Fencing Experts connects homeowners in the Fargo-Moorhead area with local fencing contractors. We are not a fencing crew, we do not hold a fencing license ourselves, and we are straightforward about that on every page of this site — including this one.

What this site actually is

Type "fence company" into a search engine and a lot of what comes back is dressed up to look like an established local contractor when it's really a lead-generation page for whoever answers the phone that week. We'd rather tell you plainly what this is: a place to describe your fencing project once, get matched with a local installer who actually works in Cass County, North Dakota or Clay and Norman County, Minnesota, and compare a real quote before committing to anything. If a single fencing company later takes over this number full time as an operating business, this page will say so plainly and update accordingly — the same honesty standard applies whether that's true today or true later.

Why we built it this way

Two reasons, and we'd rather state them than have you guess. First, presenting an operating contracting company — with a license, an address, a crew — before one actually exists behind this number would be a claim we couldn't back up the moment anyone checked it. Second, a referral model has a real advantage for homeowners: it means you're not locked into whichever single contractor happens to own this domain. You describe the project, and the installer matched to you is chosen because they work in your specific town, not because they're the only name on the letterhead.

How a quote actually works

You fill in four things: name, phone, ZIP, and a short description of the project. That request goes to a local installer who works in your area. They contact you, typically within a business day, to talk through the details and, where it's useful, arrange to see the property in person. From there you get a real quote and decide from there. There's no cost to you for the quote and no obligation attached to requesting one.

What we'll tell you plainly, rather than only what sells

On licensing and credentials

We'd rather explain how to check a fencing contractor's credentials yourself than ask you to take our word for anything. Our ND & MN Contractor Rules page walks through exactly what North Dakota requires above a $4,000 project value, how Minnesota's residential contractor licensing works differently, and how to look up any specific contractor's standing in a couple of minutes using public records. Use it on whoever you end up working with.

Where we connect homeowners

Fargo and all of Cass County, North Dakota, plus the Minnesota communities across the Red River in Clay County and Norman County. See our service areas page for a page on every town we cover.

How to reach us

Phone or the form on this site both work. See the contact page for details on what to have ready before you reach out.
